    Some Reflections on Appendicitis

I had never thought I would have had a surgery, in this strange city or more specifically the S.A.R.

You go to work at 8:00 in the morning with nice suit and tie

And wake up at 10:00 in the evening found yourself lying in a hospital

Naked and with pipes going into your vein

You leave your apartment on Wednesday morning while come back on Saturday afternoon

I barely eat anything, and could not eat anything

I rarely move, because I could not move

    So I just sleep

And woke up by nurses who came to measure my blood pressure and body temperature

    The sleep was always interrupted

So I could recall the dreams I have just had

They are all about family members

    Sometimes about food, exquisite food

I guess it was just because I was really hungry

During the time I was awake I did some thinking, serious thinking

This operation experience changes the way I see my life

Maybe it is a message that someone wants to convey

Maybe it is your body warns you that you have to slow down the pace of your life

    Do not rush while walking

Enjoy every meal you have and take some time to talk to the people around you

Or perhaps it is the one He is telling you to change the way you live

    Spend some time doing sports

Make more phone calls to your family and friends

Maybe I should take an annual leave

Maybe I should buy that coat I saw in the outlet

Whatever, one thing for sure, I am not going to the office next Monday

I was planning to work from home, but I forget my VPN password

Seems the anaesthetics really hurt your brain
